Other Advantages To National Bankruptcy

1. Our schools, once the envy of the world, are now rated in the bottom 25% of the world in math (24^th out of 28 countries) behind Bulgaria, etc. The longer a student is in the US school system the worse it gets. Home schooled students consistently learn more than students who attend the "free" government schools. With the total economic collapse communities will restart schools without the bureaucracy - teaching the students the most important subjects for that community.
2. The US legal system has morphed into an insane set of rules where it is no longer a "justice" system but a way to manipulate the system so that the guilty walk free and the unjust steal legally. Courts are more concerned with procedure rather than truth, justice or fairness. When people recreate the legal system you will decide what is fair and ethical. Justice will once again be a guiding principle.
3. Today there is no real private property in the US. If you believe that you own your home (even if there is no mortgage) try not paying your property taxes. You will soon realize that the government really owns your home and you are just renting it from them. The government can force you to use your own money to make "your" property exactly how they want it. If you want to build something on "your" property they tell you what you can build, how high it can be and where on that land you may build it. They can dictate whether or not you can let a relative live your basement! Most communities have 100 or more pages of regulations dictating whether or not you can put a sign on "your" own property. If someone else can mandate these things you do not own of that property. When we are nationally bankrupt there will be no money for busybodies to control what you can do with your own property.
4. You will once again be able to hire and let go of workers without masses of inane workplace rules and employment law. One of the reasons unemployment is so high is that if you hire the wrong person your life can be made miserable. If an employee makes a mistake or a crude comment you pay for it! When the economy is being rebuilt there will be no resources to tell an employer how to run his business.
5. Businesses will have to concentrate on providing goods and services that people really want. No longer will the emphasis be on lobbyists legally bribing politicians with campaign donations to spend taxpayer money to enrich that business (like the infamous GE).
6. Labor unions, once desperately needed in a pre-modern economy, will no longer be able to extort money from businesses and governments making them inefficient and noncompetitive. The politicians will no longer appease groups of workers with extravagant promises in return for votes. If worker exploitation becomes a problem, Unions will reemerge but without pre-1900 mentalities.
7. There will be no need for a huge military. If the world economy has collapsed, countries will be busy tending to the true needs of their citizens. There will be no incentives for invasions.
8. Adults will be free to make decisions for themselves. No longer will there be moralistic persons telling grown adults what they can and cannot do with their own bodies, money and beliefs. Adults will be treated as adults. Each community will decide what is important and what is not. The local neighbors will protect their children better than any impersonal bureaucracy.
9. With economic collapse the $800 Billion drag on the economy from the thousands of pages of IRS regulations will disappear. No longer will one citizen be able to garner favorable treatment over his neighbors from a national politician. Without 50% of wealth being taken and squandered from citizens they will have the resources to pay for the services that are important to them.
10. The drug explosion will disappear. Without profits there would be no motive to import and distribute drugs. All that the "War on Drugs" accomplished was to make billionaires out of sleazy criminals and turn millions of supposedly free adults into lawbreakers. Without an oppressive police force trying to control the morals of other adults, there would be no need to charge high prices for herbs and plants that can be grown locally.
11. Energy resources will again be reasonable. Today the Congress will not allow Solar in the desert, wind turbines in the oceans or drilling in most of the country including off the coast of Florida where the Chinese are drilling for oil with impunity. When free people can decide what is best for them and their communities, energy use will become efficient again.

There are thousands of other advantages to the economic collapse. These are just a few major ones. You can add many to this list. What is important, however, is to realize that economic collapse is probably inevitable and many, many good things will come through the rebuilding. Do not let fear of the unknown paralyze your efforts. Prepare for this inevitability and you will be fine. The question now becomes: Is it better for you and your family to prolong the agony making things worse and worse or just cut the losses and demand national bankruptcy today? Bankrupt is better than economic collapse (which will probably happen soon) so demand relief from national debt today!
